As part of the strategic plans of the Awareness and Victim Assistance Departments of the Libyan Mine Action Center and War Remnants, two intensive training courses were implemented on the dangers of mines, war remnants and explosive devices, in addition to the concept of victim assistance and the data collection mechanism. The courses targeted medical and paramedical teams from the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, in order to enhance their capabilities in dealing with cases resulting from war remnants and providing the necessary support to victims.
Objectives of the training courses:
- Awareness of the dangers of mines and war remnants:
The courses aim to raise the level of awareness among participants about the dangers posed by mines, explosive devices and war remnants, and how to recognize and avoid them. - Victim assistance:
