Today, the Director of the Libyan Mine Action Center welcomed Ms. Mirna van der Knab, Military Attaché at the Dutch Embassy, and Ms. Helen Battermans, Deputy Ambassador of the Netherlands.
During the meeting, the Director expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation for the support provided by the Kingdom of the Netherlands across various mine action and war remnants activities. He emphasized the importance of this support, past, present, and future, in strengthening joint humanitarian efforts.
The visit also included an introductory visual presentation about the Center, highlighting its key mandates and programs, as well as a review of current and future work priorities aimed at reducing the risks of mines and war remnants and supporting efforts toward stability and development.
