The Libyan Mine Action Center organized a specialized training course on mine risk education, targeting a group of new volunteers from the Libyan Red Crescent \u2013 Tripoli Branch. This initiative is part of the Center\u2019s ongoing efforts to strengthen national capacities in community awareness and prevention of explosive hazards.
The three-day course included theoretical lectures and practical exercises covering types of landmines and explosive remnants of war, effective awareness strategies, and field safety procedures. Participants were also trained on how to deliver risk education messages to various segments of society, particularly in conflict-affected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
