As part of ongoing efforts to clear remnants of war from affected areas to create a safe and pollution-free environment in our beloved country, the Libyan Peace Organization (LPO), under the supervision and presence of the Libyan Mine Action Center (LibMAC), carried out the collection and disposal of approximately 2 tons of unexploded ordnance on April 24, 2025. The disposal operation took place in the Kararim area, east of Misrata, as part of the center’s plan to protect the lives of civilians, in cooperation with partner and supporting agencies.
\nThe Director of the Libyan Center also extends his thanks to all donors and supporting countries for their participation in the success of these tasks assigned to the Libyan Center and the organizations working in this humanitarian field.<\/p>\n
