On February 19, 2025, a large amount of war remnants, amounting to 3 tons, were removed, which were collected from the areas of Misrata, Tawergha, Abu Qurain, and Al-Washka. This operation came as a result of reports submitted by citizens and local authorities in these areas, reflecting the community’s awareness of the importance of reporting war remnants to ensure their safety and the safety of their areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operation was carried out under the supervision of the Libyan Mine Action Center and in cooperation with the Turkish team specialized in removing war remnants. These efforts come within a comprehensive strategy to enhance security and safety in areas affected by previous conflicts, where it was confirmed that these remnants were safely disposed of in accordance with Libyan national standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This achievement is an important step towards clearing Libya of war remnants, which pose a major threat to the lives of civilians and hinder the process of reconstruction and development. The cooperation between the Libyan Center and the Turkish team also demonstrates the importance of international partnership in supporting local efforts to confront these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Libyan Mine Action Centre continues to call on citizens to report any suspicious remnants of war, stressing that these efforts will not succeed without the cooperation of the local community and international supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n
