The meeting discussed several key points, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The vision of the new Director of the LibMAC:<br>Brigadier General Khalil Al-Shibli, the new Director of the Centre, presented his vision and future strategy for enhancing mine action efforts in Libya, with a focus on improving coordination between local and international actors and increasing the effectiveness of field operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation by the Head of the United Nations Mine Action Programme (UNMAS):<br>Ms. Fatima Zouriq, Head of the United Nations Mine Action Programme (UNMAS), gave a presentation on the United Nations efforts to support Libya in this field, including current challenges and opportunities for enhancing international cooperation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical presentation by the LibMAC:<br>The LibMAC gave a practical presentation outlining recent achievements and ongoing operations, as well as future plans to enhance local capacities in the field of mine action and community awareness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mapping of NGOs\u2019 activities and actors\/available funding for 2025:<br>The meeting mapped out the detailed activities of NGOs and actors in the field of mine action, identifying the sources of funding available for 2025 to ensure the continuity and expansion of efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group of donors, supporters and supporters of the Libyan Humanitarian Mine Action Programme:<br>Italy\u2019s presidency of the Group of donors and supporters of the Libyan Humanitarian Mine Action Programme was announced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date of the next meeting and closing remarks:<br>The date of the next meeting was set to discuss progress made and new challenges.
