At the Radisson Blu Hotel – Al-Mahari Tripoli, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, the Minister of Defense, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, the Secretary-General of the Office of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs, and The ambassadors of Germany, Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, and several mayors and humanitarian organizations working in the areas of awareness of the dangers of mines, and ways to get rid of them\u2026
The Libyan Mine Action Centre affiliated with the Ministry of Defense commemorated the International Day for Awareness of the Risks of Mine and Remnants of War, this morning, Monday, March 28, 2022 AD\u2026
The general program began with the national anthem, then with a speech by the head of the center, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Turjuman, then by a speech by the Minister of Defense, who stressed the importance of intensifying all efforts to expedite the disposal of mines and reduce their dangers to civilians\u2026 This was followed by several presentations explaining several ways to remove mines on modern scientific grounds.
After that, everyone visited the wings of organizations active in the fields of demining and raising awareness of their dangers.<\/p>\n\n\n
