As part of ongoing efforts to eliminate war remnants, the HALO Trust organization carried out a disposal operation in cooperation with the Turkish specialized clearance team. The operation resulted in the safe disposal of approximately 2 tons of munitions, under the supervision and presence of the Libyan Mine Action Center (LIBMAC) \u2013 Central Region Branch, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense.
The disposal took place in the Qarareem area, east of Misrata, as part of the Center\u2019s strategic plan to protect civilian lives and reduce the risks posed by explosive remnants of war. The operation was conducted in coordination with supporting and partner entities.
This mission reflects the Center\u2019s commitment to humanitarian safety and its role in promoting stability and development in affected regions through precise and professionally executed clearance operations.<\/p>\n\n\n
