In pursuit of enhancing national capacities in humanitarian response and supporting field workers, the Libyan Mine Action Center, through its Victim Assistance Department, in cooperation with the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, and in coordination with the Mental Health Department, is launching a specialized training program on Psychological First Aid.
The program targets members of international and local organizations, the National Safety Authority team, and Libyan Mine Action Center staff working in the field.
This training responds to the growing need to develop psychological first aid skills, particularly among those working in high-risk field environments. It aims to ensure a comprehensive humanitarian response that takes into account the psychological and social dimensions of those affected by landmines and remnants of war.
