Libyan Mine Action Center Concludes Mine Risk Education Training Program in Benghazi
As part of its humanitarian mission to promote safe behavior and reduce the rising number of victims, the Libyan Mine Action Center concluded on Thursday, December 11, 2025, a training program on mine risk education and safer behavior. The program was held at the headquarters of the Libyan Red Crescent in Benghazi, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Libyan Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross, with participants from several areas in southern and eastern Libya.
The six-day program included both theoretical and practical sessions aimed at strengthening the capacities of volunteers and enabling them to spread awareness and knowledge within their communities.
The Libyan Mine Action Center reaffirms its continued commitment to protecting civilians and reducing the risks associated with remnants of war across all regions of Libya.
